Mō te tūranga | About the role

You will be responsible for:

  • providing trusted, timely and accurate digital guidance, advice and practical support to internal and external stakeholders
  • creating, editing and publishing content to digital channels owned or managed by Waikato Regional Council
  • working with subject matter experts to ensure all content is accurate and up to date.
  • helping monitor, measure and analyse the performance of digital channels owned or managed by Waikato Regional Council, using insights to recommend improvements.

What you’ll bring:

  • experience using website content management systems and HTML
  • an understanding of user experience, web accessibility and how to structure online content for different audiences and digital platforms
  • a customer‑centric approach and strong collaboration skills
  • ability to juggle multiple tasks while delivering accurate, creative work at pace.
  • Diploma in Web Development and Design or a similar qualification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in digital communications, working on websites and other digital channels.
