Job summary

Protranz Earthmoving Limited is seeking an experienced excavator operator for a long-term civil project in Tokanui, Waikato. You will operate 13T+ machines and rollers, deliver precise final trim work, and support site preparation for asphalt and concrete.

A professional civil team and stable work environment are emphasized. Applicants should have proven excavator experience (13T+), accurate trim skills, and strong safety awareness.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating excavators, including 13T and 20T machines, and rollers
• Completing precise final trim work to ±10mm
• Preparing surfaces for asphalt and concrete
• Supporting general civil construction and machine-based site works
• Working safely across varied site conditions and changing priorities
• Communicating clearly with supervisors, crew members, clients, and suppliers
• Maintaining a professional, tidy, and safety-focused approach on site
