Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand in Hamilton is seeking an experienced Diesel Workshop Technician to join our automotive service team. You will diagnose, repair and service diesel vehicles, working on engine assemblies, transmissions and related components, with on-site training provided.

We offer an excellent remuneration package with a Hourly rate of 30–36 NZD, a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm, and a supportive, close-knit team in a modern, NZ-owned business that values skill growth.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ working experience with Diesel vehicles.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Passion and drive to grow your role within the company.
• Excellent remuneration package - $30-$36 hourly rate depending on experience.
• Working hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, minimum 30 hours per week (Mon–Fri).
• Team-oriented, close-knit environment with on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and carry out necessary automotive repairs.
• Dismantling and removing diesel engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services on diesel vehicles.
• Assist with general servicing and COF checks when required.
