Job summary

RecruitMate is seeking a skilled Automotive Diesel Technician to join a leading NZ-owned client in Hamilton. You will diagnose and repair diesel vehicles, performing duties with a high standard of workmanship, independently where required.

The role offers 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, at least 30 hours per week, with remuneration in the $30–$36 hourly range depending on experience. On-site training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ working experience with Diesel vehicles.
• Strong Fault Finding and Diagnostic Skills.
• Passion and drive to grow your role within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and carry out necessary automotive repairs.
• Dismantling and removing diesel engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services on diesel vehicles.
• Assist with general servicing and COF checks when required.

Your Job role:
You will have the ability to work independently producing a high standard of work. Full automotive skill set will be required.

• Perform diagnostic testing and carry out necessary automotive repairs.
• Dismantling and removing diesel engine assemblies transmissions steering mechanisms and other components.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services on diesel vehicles
• Assist with general Servicing and COF checks when required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• At least 3 years’ working experience with Diesel vehicles
• Strong Fault Finding and Diagnostic Skills
• Passion and drive to grow your role within the company
• Excellent remuneration package-($30-$36 Hourly rate depend on experience)
• Working hours: 7:30am to 4.30pm minimum 30 hours per week.(Monday to Friday)
