Job summary

Sedgwick in Christchurch is seeking a Desktop Adjuster to support Natural Hazards claims on a 6-month contract. You will manage claims from initial assessment through to settlement, coordinating with customers, insurers and suppliers.

We are currently looking for a Desktop Adjuster to join our Christchurch team supporting Natural Hazards claims. This is an exciting and rewarding position, where you will manage claims from initial assessment through to settlement, working closely with customers, insurers, suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver fair and timely outcomes.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• • Liaising with customers who have suffered a loss and need support through the claims process
• • Reviewing claim documentation and assessing claim information
• • Managing and progressing a portfolio of natural hazards claims
• • Communicating with insurer, broker and supplier partners
• • Delivering excellent customer service and regular claim updates
• • Maintaining accurate claim records and reporting
