Ritchies Transport Holdings Ltd. in Auckland seeks a Depot Supervisor to lead operations at the Albany Depot.

You will oversee rostering, dispatch, service delivery and daily challenges while supporting drivers and depot teams to deliver safe, reliable transport services. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and motivate teams to achieve strong outcomes with a hands-on leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of up to 45 drivers and cleaners.
• Oversee day-to-day depot operations including dispatch, rostering, and service delivery.
• Manage operational challenges and make real-time decisions to maintain service performance.
• Champion a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance and safe work practices.
• Support incident management, investigations, and reporting with a calm and people-focused approach.
• Work closely with HR, Training, Recruitment and Workshop teams regarding staffing, onboarding and fleet requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, customers, unions and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and customer experience.
• Help create a positive team culture where people feel supported and empowered to succeed.
