Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is rolling out Safe Food Pro to member stores and is seeking two fixed-term Deployment Team roles to support the digitisation of food safety and compliance.

You will train and coach store teams, build relationships with Owner Operators and Compliance Managers, and support project delivery within scope, timeframes and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, coaching, facilitation or change support.
  • Background in food safety, compliance, retail operations, or related field; Safe Food Pro experience highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational capability; ability to work independently.
  • Confidence presenting to small and large groups, in person and virtually.
  • Collaborative approach with ability to influence and gain buy-in from others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • NZ Driver Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Safe Food Pro training and coaching to store teams.
  • Support stores through the transition to a digitised food safety platform.
  • Identify training needs and develop practical solutions.

We have 2 x 12-month fixed-term opportunities available!

As part of the Retail Operations Deployment Team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the rollout of Safe Food Pro, helping our member stores transition to a digitised way of managing food safety and compliance. Working closely with store teams, Compliance Managers and Owner Operators, you'll provide training, coaching and operational support to ensure successful adoption of the programme and positive business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping others learn and adapt to new ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Safe Food Pro training and coaching to store teams.
  • Supporting stores through the transition to a digitised food safety platform.

You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in training, coaching, facilitation or change support.
  • A background in food safety, compliance, retail operations, or a related field (experience with Safe Food Pro would be highly advantageous).
