Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is rolling out Safe Food Pro and seeks two 12-month fixed-term roles within the Retail Operations Deployment Team to train and support stores as they digitise food safety processes.

You will train, coach and empower store teams, Owner Operators and managers, helping them adopt the new system and realise positive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in training, coaching, facilitation or change support.
• Background in food safety, compliance, retail operations, or related field is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organisational capability with the ability to work independently.
• Confident presenting to small and large groups, in person and virtually.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to influence others.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Safe Food Pro training and coaching to store teams.

We have 2 x 12-month fixed‑term opportunities available!

As part of the Retail Operations Deployment Team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the rollout of Safe Food Pro, helping our member stores transition to a digitised way of managing food safety and compliance. Working closely with store teams, Compliance Managers and Owner Operators, you’ll provide training, coaching and operational support to ensure successful adoption of the programme and positive business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping others learn and adapt to new ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:
