Foodstuffs North Island is seeking an experienced Security & Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) Manager to lead our enterprise security capability and oversee FRT delivery across stores. Our Retail Operations & Transformation team are laser-focused on critical metrics—driving SAP support, efficiency of in-store operations, checkout performance and play a key role with new store openings & ownership changes across all three banners.
We’re looking for an experienced Security & Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) Manager to lead our enterprise security capability and oversee the delivery and operation of FRT across our stores.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring our security systems and FRT programme are safe, ethical, compliant and effective - protecting our people, customers, and communities while reducing harm and loss.
You’ll own the end-to-end FRT operating model, from rollout through to governance and ongoing optimisation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
You bring strong enterprise leadership capability, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Exercise excellent judgement in complex, high-risk, and sensitive environments, balancing operational needs with ethical and reputational considerations.
Being highly data-driven, with strong analytical capability and a track record of using insights to inform decisions, you combine strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring initiatives are both well-designed and effectively delivered. Your ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable plans sets you apart.
You bring senior-level experience across security, loss prevention, risk, or integrity functions within large or complex environments. You have successfully led technology-enabled or data-driven programmes and built robust governance, compliance, and operating frameworks. In addition, you have demonstrated success leading teams through change and transformation, building capability while fostering engagement and performance.
