Job summary

Lumino Palmerston North is seeking a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our busy practice on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Located in central Palmerston North, we provide outstanding dental care in a patient-focused environment and offer a supportive team plus modern equipment.

In this dual role, you will support both clinical and administrative functions, assist clinicians during treatments, maintain infection control, manage rooms and patient flow, and

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, professional, and patient-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
The legal right to work in New Zealand

Responsibilities

Assist clinicians during a variety of dental treatments and procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments
Maintain high infection control and sterilisation standards
Ensure clinical areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked
Support the wider clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
