Job summary

Lumino The Dentists is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Takapuna clinic. You will support clinicians during procedures, assist with X-rays, sterilisation, and prepare treatment rooms while delivering outstanding patient care.

Hours are 23 per week: Monday 8:30am–5:00pm, Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–4:00pm. You’ll be part of a friendly team at Lumino Como Street, Takapuna, with easy access to transport and local amenities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid NZ work right.
• Live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of Birkenhead.

Lumino Como Street is currently on the lookout for an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team!

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld and the best patient care is provided. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.
