Job summary

Lumino is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support clinicians at Long Bay & Rosedale clinics in Auckland. You will assist during procedures, take X-rays, manage instrument sterilisation, and prepare treatment rooms. You will also greet patients, review medical histories and respond to inquiries to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This full-time, on-site role offers dynamic teamwork in a fast-paced environment with proximity to Long Bay and Rosedale, North Auckland.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of Long Bay & Rosedale.

Job Description

Lumino Long Bay & Rosedale is currently on the lookout for an experienced Dental Assistant to join their team!

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld and the best patient care is provided. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.

The hours for the role are below: Mon - Wed and Alternate Fri

• Monday: 8am - 5pm (Rosedale)
• Tuesday: 8am - 5pm (Long Bay)
• Alternate Friday: 8am - 5pm (Rosedale)
