Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Demi Chef to join the Puka Park kitchen, responsible for preparing, producing and presenting all foods according to standard recipes under the Head Chef.

You will uphold HACCP and food safety, minimize waste, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and assist with stock audits and ordering, requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated work in F&B within a hotel or resort environment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong guest-service orientation and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, produce and present all foods according to standard recipes.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety compliance in all service areas.

How You'll Shine

As the Demi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting all foods according to standard recipes and as directed by the Head Chef and provide a superior customer experience.

• Place highest importance to food safety and hygiene of food preparation as outlined in the HACCP principles and the local guidelines for catering establishments.
• Prepare, produce and present all foods in accordance with identified Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards, commonly accepted in the catering industry.
• Display eagerness to increase food knowledge and skills.
• Strive to minimize food wastage.
• Provide an exceptional Guest experience.
• Audit kitchen stock & grocery lines daily & order stock as required.
