Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited is seeking an experienced demand planning leader to drive our global planning function. You will lead the central team, collaborate with regional planning teams and key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy and planning standards.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in demand planning with forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills including forecasting, modelling, and bias analysis.
• Experience in complex manufacturing, tech, or supply chain with international exposure.
• Teritary qualification in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across functions.
• Experience improving demand planning processes and forecasting practices.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI; ERP/enterprise planning systems familiarity.
• Knowledge of S&OP and how forecasting informs business decisions.
• Experience supporting system implementations or change initiatives.

Job description

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced demand planning professional to lead and strengthen our global demand planning function, improving forecasting accuracy, building planning capability and supporting informed business decisions across Gallagher's international operations.

Reporting to the GM Supply Chain, you'll lead our central demand planning team and work closely with regional planning teams and stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance and Operations. You'll take ownership of our global demand planning processes, combining hands-on forecasting and analysis with the opportunity to influence strategy, improve processes and drive consistency across our international markets.

A key focus of this role will be strengthening forecasting performance, developing our global planning standards and supporting the business requirements and adoption of our proposed SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) implementation.

This is an opportunity for an established demand planning leader or an experienced senior planner ready to take the next step in their career. You may already be leading a demand planning function, or perhaps you're a senior planner who's ready to step into a formal leadership role. Either way, you'll bring strong technical capability, a collaborative approach and the confidence to take ownership, challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement.

We're looking for someone with:

• At least five years' experience in demand planning, with strong exposure to forecasting processes, demand reviews and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong analytical capability, including statistical forecasting, demand modelling, forecast accuracy and bias analysis.

• Experience working within complex manufacturing, technology or supply chain environments, ideally with exposure to international markets.

• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.

• The ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate discussions and build consensus across different business functions.

• Experience improving demand planning processes, systems and forecasting practices.

• Strong knowledge of ERP and enterprise planning systems, with advanced Excel and Power BI capability.

• An understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and how demand forecasting supports broader business decisions.

• Experience supporting system implementations, process improvements or change initiatives.

• SAP planning knowledge, particularly SAP IBP Demand or APO-DP, would be advantageous.

• A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in developing others.
