Job summary

Switched On Housing is seeking a Delivery Supervisor on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027. You will own residential maintenance projects from scoping through to completion, working with Kāinga Ora, subcontractors, customers and internal teams to ensure work is delivered safely and to a high standard.

This hands-on role requires practical problem-solving, strong organisational skills and a commitment to quality workmanship, with time split between on-site supervision and behind-the-scenes

Qualifications

• Experience supervising residential maintenance, construction or trade-based work.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities.
• Practical problem-solver who can make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety expectations in a construction or maintenance environment.

• Scope repair and maintenance work across Kāinga Ora properties.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades throughout project delivery.
• Monitor site activity to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Carry out quality assurance inspections and sign off completed works.
• Maintain accurate job records, documentation and invoicing.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, Kāinga Ora, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Contribute to achieving contract performance targets and customer outcomes.

We are looking for a Delivery Supervisor to join our team on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2027.

This is a hands on role where you will take ownership of residential maintenance projects from scoping through to completion. You will work closely with Kāinga Ora, subcontractors, customers and internal teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will spend time both on site and behind the scenes, no two days are the same. You will be managing competing priorities, solving problems on the go, and building strong relationships with a wide range of people.
