Job summary

Vector is reshaping Auckland’s energy future with a new Digital & Data operating model. The Delivery Partner will lead cross-functional delivery, translating strategy into action and guiding executives through investment, roadmap decisions and measurable outcomes.

The role requires senior leadership experience, hands-on delivery, vendor management and a strong ability to align business priorities with technology outcomes to accelerate value realization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in digital transformation, delivery leadership.
• Experience translating strategy into prioritised work and measurable outcomes.
• Proven track record partnering with General Managers and executives.
• Experience owning business cases, funding and readiness.
• Strong commercial judgement and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Delivery Partner for domain with clear direction and governance.
• Shape and maintain outcome-based roadmaps aligned to strategy and priorities.
• Lead prioritisation and investment discussions balancing value, funding, risk and readiness.
• Shape business cases and initiatives; make or recommend go/no-go decisions.
• Identify and resolve delivery barriers, risks and dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Own prioritisation, funding readiness, benefits tracking and decision recommendations.
• Drive end-to-end accountability for delivery outcomes and value realization.
• Provide visibility of domain roadmaps, progress, risks and value.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and delivery partners, ensuring accountability.
