Placements24 in Queenstown is seeking a proactive Delivery Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role balances on-site supervision of drivers with remote coordination of schedules and communications to keep routes efficient and on time.

You will optimize delivery plans, resolve delays, and ensure customer satisfaction within the Queenstown service area, with opportunities for professional development in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or a related field, with supervisory or coordination responsibilities.
Familiarity with the Queenstown area and surrounding regions is advantageous.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in both an office setting and remotely.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily delivery schedules and driver assignments to ensure timely completion of routes.
Monitor delivery progress, track shipments, and proactively address any delays or issues.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve inquiries.
Assist in training new drivers and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Maintain accurate delivery records and prepare reports on operational performance.
