Job summary

Softsource Ltd is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead our consulting delivery function across a defined region. You will ensure engagements are delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard, while providing day-to-day leadership to our consulting team.

You will manage regional delivery pipelines, allocate resources effectively, and maintain governance and quality standards, driving utilisation and customer satisfaction across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading consulting, technical or project delivery teams within a professional services environment.
• Delivery management capability including resource planning, utilisation and project execution.
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance delivery quality, utilisation and client outcomes.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing technical consultants.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, complex delivery pipelines, risks and dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trust with clients and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies, governance practices and quality standards.
• Pragmatic and solutions-focused with problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Clear and confident communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• High accountability and ownership, with a strong focus on delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional services delivery across the assigned region, ensuring engagements meet scope, time, budget and quality expectations.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and performance support to consultants, setting clear expectations for delivery, utilisation and customer engagement.
• Own regional resource planning and allocation, matching the right capability to the right work and managing capacity, gaps and bottlenecks.
• Maintain oversight of delivery pipelines, project health, risks and dependencies, acting as the escalation point for delivery or client concerns.
• Drive utilisation performance while balancing billable delivery with capability development and team sustainability.
• Ensure consistent use of delivery methodologies, tools, documentation, time tracking, reporting and governance standards.
• Build strong client relationships and support consultants to manage expectations, communication, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Partner with PMO, Presales and Account Managers to align sold and delivered outcomes, forecast demand and ensure a smooth transition into delivery
