Job summary

Fisher & Paykel is seeking a hands-on Delivery & Installation Assistant to support our delivery team in Christchurch. You will help deliver, install, and connect appliances, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain vehicle safety and documentation.

Ideal candidates have a full driver licence, good literacy/numeracy, basic computer skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety. Some travel and a heavy vehicle licence would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Delivery and installation experience or aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery schedules including receiving, loading and unloading products.
• Deliver, install and connect appliances in customers’ homes with care and professionalism.
• Remove customers’ old products when required.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain a roadworthy vehicle; ensure delivery paperwork is accurate.
• Support trade deliveries and warehouse operations when needed.
• Follow health and safety procedures and represent Fisher & Paykel positively in customer interactions.

You take pride in your work, communicate professionally and understand the importance of delivering a great customer experience.You’ll also bring a full driver licence, good literacy and numeracy skills, basic computer capability and a strong commitment to health and safety. Previous experience in a similar role and additional trade skills would be an advantage.
