Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Delivery & Installation Assistant in Christchurch to help deliver, install and connect products safely at customers’ homes. You will work with the Lead Driver to ensure a premium service experience and seamless customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Reliable and physically capable in a hands-on environment.
• Pride in work, professional communication, and focus on customer experience.
• Full driver licence, good literacy and numeracy, basic computer skills, and strong commitment to health and safety.
• Previous experience in a similar role and additional trade skills are advantageous.
• A relevant heavy vehicle licence would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily delivery schedules, including receiving, loading and unloading products.
• Delivering, installing and connecting appliances in customers’ homes, with care and professionalism.
• Removing customers’ old products where required.
• Completing vehicle safety checks, maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle, and ensuring all delivery documentation is completed accurately.
• Supporting trade deliveries and warehouse operations when needed.
• Following health and safety procedures and representing Fisher & Paykel positively in every customer interaction.

Delivery & Installation Assistant

We’re looking for a hands‑on, customer‑focused Delivery & Installation Assistant to help bring the F&P experience into our customers’ homes. Working alongside our Lead Driver, you’ll help deliver, install and connect Fisher & Paykel products safely and efficiently, ensuring every customer receives the high standard of service expected from our premium brand. This is an active, practical role where teamwork, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to customer service are essential.

What you’ll be doing
