Vuthy Yaya Courier Post Limited in Wellington region is looking for Delivery Drivers to join their team. The role involves delivering or picking up materials, following routes and schedules, and ensuring safety and proper loading/unloading of vehicles.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant experience or NZ register level 2/3 qualification, a valid NZ Class 1 license, be physically fit, and free of criminal or driving convictions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience.
• NZ register level 2/3 qualification or equivalent.
• Valid NZ full (Class 1) license or equivalent.
• Physical fitness and good work ethic.
• No criminal or driving convictions.
• Must able to pass the drug test.

Responsabilités

• Following instructions to deliver or pick up materials and goods on a regular basis.
• Following routes and time schedule.
• Operating vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
• Using lifting and tipping devices to load and unload vehicles.
• Complying with safety requirements when driving, parking, loading, and unloading vehicles.
• Conducting regular routine checks of vehicles to ensure road safety.
• Ensuring the loaded materials, goods and equipment are safely stored and covered, and protected from damage or loss.
• Carefully verifying loading documents, check the loading condition and obtain supporting documentation for delivery.
