Job summary

Qjumpers in Hastings, NZ is seeking a reliable Truck Driver, Light or Delivery Services to join our team. You will safely operate delivery vehicles, unload and load, and provide excellent customer service while keeping accurate records. Shifts Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation; hours 5:30am–3:00pm.

Immediate start available. You may also assist in our warehouse during busy periods. A full NZ driver's licence is required, and you must obtain a Class 2 licence.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting heavy boxes and long hours.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and customer focus.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
• Hold a clean full NZ driver's licence and be prepared to obtain a Class 2 licence.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to ensure on-time delivery.
• Load and unload goods while maintaining product quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Assist in the busy warehouse when required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and Bidfood procedures.

As a Driver/Store person, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders safely, accurately, and on time. Offering a hands-on role where you'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Shifts: Monday – Friday, Saturday rotating shifts

Hours: 5:30am – 3:00pm (hours discussed at interview)

The Role:

• Safely and efficiently operate our delivery vehicles, ensuring products arrive on-time and in excellent condition.
• Handle loading and unloading with care, maintaining product quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service, building positive relationships.
• Keep accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Assist in our busy Warehouse when required.
• Commitment to safety protocols and following Bidfood company procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy boxes (20kg+)
• A positive, 'can do' attitude with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in delivering excellent service
• A team player who is willing to learn and develop
• Holds a Clean Full New Zealand Drivers Licence
• Must obtain Full class 2 licence
