Job summary

Bradnam's Windows & Doors in Rotorua is seeking a Delivery Driver / Factory Loader with a clean Class 2 licence to join our tight-knit team. You will load, deliver and unload aluminium joinery, and assist with general factory tasks such as assembling and glazing when deliveries are complete.

Deliveries vary from local to longer runs; you will need strong driving skills, a safe attitude, clear communication and a willingness to multi-task in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Clean full Class 2 driver licence is required; forklift licence is a plus.
• Ability to back trailers and handle joinery items with care.
• Willingness to multi-task and work with customers when delivering.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver aluminium joinery to customers.
• Assist with loading freight forwarder trucks.
• Perform general factory tasks (assembling, glazing) when deliveries are complete.
• Maintain a safe driving record and adapt to variable delivery scopes.
• Support a positive and productive team environment.
• Flexibly handle local and long-distance deliveries as needed.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a class 2 driver to join our tight knit Rotorua team in the role of Delivery Driver / Factory Loader. You will be reporting to the North Island Manufacturing Manager and be responsible to load and deliver product to our customers. It may also include loading of freight forwarder truck(s) and any other general duties. Duties will be split between delivery of aluminium joinery, and general factory tasks (assembling, glazing, etc) when deliveries are completed. Our deliveries are done with our light truck and transport trailer (Class 2 licence).

Deliveries in any given day are highly variable in scope. Deliveries can range from local deliveries and long distance deliveries, so flexibility is required along with a positive and constructive approach to meeting our customer's needs.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a positive, friendly, can-do attitude and be a great team player. To be considered for this role you will have:

Good driving skills including expert ability to back a trailer

An excellent driving record and be a safe, defensive driver

Clear verbal communication skills

Strong enough to lift the joinery items

Capable of carrying our general mechanical assembly with good hand tool skills and coordination

Self-motivated and focused on productivity

A Clean Full Class 2 driver licence, and willing to get forklift licence

The ability to multi-task and customer driven

Computer knowledge would be an advantage

Strong knowledge of the North Island for delivery purposes
