Job summary

Bradnam's Windows & Doors in Rotorua is seeking a Delivery Driver / Factory Loader. You will load and deliver aluminium joinery to customers using a light truck and trailer, reporting to the North Island Manufacturing Manager.

The role includes occasional factory tasks such as assembling and glazing when not delivering. The ideal candidate has a clean Class 2 licence, a safe driving record, and is willing to obtain a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Good driving skills including expert ability to back a trailer.
• An excellent driving record and be a safe, defensive driver.
• Strong enough to lift the joinery items.
• Capable of carrying our general mechanical assembly with good hand tool skills and coordination.
• Self-motivated and focused on productivity.
• A Clean Full Class 2 driver licence, and willing to get forklift licence
• The ability to multi-task and customer driven
• Computer knowledge would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of the North Island for delivery purposes

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver product to customers.
• Assist with loading freight forwarder trucks.
• Carry out general duties including factory tasks (assembling, glazing) when not delivering.
• Deliveries locally and long distance with base return, not overnight; flexibility required.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a class 2 driver to joinour tight knit Rotorua team in the role of Delivery Driver / Factory Loader.You will be reporting to the North Island Manufacturing Manager and beresponsible to load and deliver product to our customers. It may also includeloading of freight forwarder truck(s) and any other general duties. Duties willbe split between delivery of aluminium joinery, and general factory tasks(assembling, glazing, etc) when deliveries are completed. Our deliveries are done with our light truckand transport trailer (Class 2 licence). Deliveries in any given day are highly variable inscope. Deliveries can range from localdeliveries and long distance deliveries (return to base, not overnight), soflexibility is required along with a positive and constructive approach tomeeting our customer's needs.This role provides lots of variety, great culture and asupportive team environment. There is also opportunity for further growth inBradnam's.
