Job summary

Bradnam's Windows & Doors in Rotorua is seeking a Delivery Driver / Factory Loader. You will load and deliver aluminium joinery to customers using a light truck and trailer, reporting to the North Island Manufacturing Manager.

The role includes occasional factory tasks such as assembling and glazing when not delivering. The ideal candidate has a clean Class 2 licence, a safe driving record, and is willing to obtain a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Good driving skills including expert ability to back a trailer.
• An excellent driving record and be a safe, defensive driver.
• Strong enough to lift the joinery items.
• Capable of carrying our general mechanical assembly with good hand tool skills and coordination.
• Self-motivated and focused on productivity.
• A Clean Full Class 2 driver licence, and willing to get forklift licence
• The ability to multi-task and customer driven
• Computer knowledge would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of the North Island for delivery purposes

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver product to customers.
• Assist with loading freight forwarder trucks.
• Carry out general duties including factory tasks (assembling, glazing) when not delivering.
• Deliveries locally and long distance with base return, not overnight; flexibility required.
