Tradestaff Dunedin is seeking an experienced Class 1 Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation. You will deliver to businesses across Dunedin, load and unload goods, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a clean NZ Class 1 licence, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 5am–3pm, with paid overtime after 40 hours.

• Full NZ Class 1 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Delivery driving experience in a busy distribution environment preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.
• Excellent navigation skills and ability to manage a busy delivery schedule.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑first attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently.
• A Class 2 licence is a bonus but not essential.

Responsabilidades

Class 1 Delivery Driver

Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver who enjoys being out on the road, keeping busy and delivering great customer service? Tradestaff Dunedin is looking for a reliable, hardworking Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be doing more than just driving, with plenty of variety, physical work and customer interaction throughout your day.

Location: Dunedin Central, Dunedin

Start date: ASAP

Pay rate: $26.21-$28.25 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay

About the Role

You'll be responsible for completing deliveries to businesses throughout Dunedin, ensuring customers receive the right products on time. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, physical fitness and the ability to work independently.

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 5am-3pm, with paid overtime after 40 hours worked.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Completing multiple deliveries to businesses across Dunedin each day
• Loading and unloading goods, including heavy items
• Checking orders carefully to ensure accurate deliveries
• Planning your routes and managing your time efficiently
• Providing friendly, professional service to customers
• Handling delivery delays, incorrect orders or customer concerns calmly and professionally
• Assisting with warehouse duties when required

What We're Looking For

• Full NZ Class 1 driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Previous delivery driving experience, ideally in a busy distribution environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
• Excellent navigation skills and the ability to manage a busy delivery schedule
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual and confident working independently
• A Class 2 licence would be a bonus, but is not essential
