Job summary

Sanmukh Limited is seeking two delivery drivers to service the Gisborne district. You will manage your own scheduling, complete deliveries, and handle related paperwork to keep operations smooth. The role runs Monday to Sunday with start times between 5:00am and 6:00pm.

You will plan routes, load/unload stock, interact with customers, and assist with stock control. Training is provided if experience is limited, and a Class 1 license is required.

Qualifications

• Clean Class 1 license or equivalent.
• 0–6 months’ work experience; if none, training provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Health and safety focused attitude.
• Good personal presentation and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily delivery route and schedule deliveries reliably.
• Load and unload stock on trucks or vans.
• Deliver goods driving vans to customers in the Gisborne area.
• Interact with customers and provide a high level of service.
• Stocktake and order new supplies as needed.
• Train new staff as required and cooperate with team.
• Clean vans and keep them to required standards.
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and perform required tasks.

We are seeking 2 delivery drivers to service the larger Gisborne district.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all of their own scheduling and delivery times and will have to be able to complete deliveries and associated paperwork on time to keep business running smoothly.

This is a Monday to Sunday role with start times between 5:00am and 6:00pm

You will be required to:

Stocktake and order new supplies

Train new staff as required and work with staff

Clean vans and keep them to required standards.

Ensure the vehicles are road worthy and undertake the necessary tasks to keep them road worthy as required

You will have:

A clean class 1 license or equivalent 0-6 months’ work experience - If no experience then, training will be provided.
