Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid NZ driver’s license.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Determine destinations of goods and delivery routes.
• Manoeuvre vehicles into loading/unloading positions.
• Assist with loading to ensure goods are secured for delivery.
• Verify loading documents.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs.
• Arrange and perform unloading operations.
• Obtain certification of deliveries.
• Ensure readiness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

The duties of this position are:

• Relevant experience of at least one year or a relevant qualification preferred
• Determining the destinations of goods and appropriate delivery routes
• Manoeuvring vehicles into the position of loading and unloading
• Assisting with loading to ensure goods are arranged for easy deliveryand are safely secured to avoid damage
• Verifying loading documents
• Reporting vehicle maintenance needs
• Arranging and performing unloading operations
• Obtaining certification of deliveries
• Valid NZ driver’s license

Applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, includingweekends and Public Holidays as the role requires.

Salary range for the position: Around $25.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
