About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a reliable and efficient Dedicated Regional Delivery Driver to serve the Queenstown, Eastern Cape area and its surrounding regions. This role is integral to ensuring that our products reach retail outlets and customers promptly and in excellent condition. The successful candidate will operate a company vehicle, manage delivery schedules, and maintain strong relationships with clients at delivery points. We are looking for an individual with excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport FMCG products to various retail locations and distribution points.
• Plan and execute daily delivery routes efficiently to meet all delivery windows and schedules.
• Load and unload goods accurately and safely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Verify delivery quantities and obtain necessary signatures and proof of delivery.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients at each delivery point.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding route status and any potential delays.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (e.g., Code 10/C1) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably within the FMCG or retail distribution sector.
• Good knowledge of the Queenstown, Eastern Cape and surrounding regional road networks.
• Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading and unloading goods.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with delivery scheduling and route planning software is a plus.
