Job summary

Avanti Finance is seeking an Account Manager to support and grow our dealer and introducer network across Auckland. Working with an experienced BDM, you’ll learn the business, build trusted relationships and become a key contact for our introducer network.

This hands-on role involves visiting dealers, explaining lending criteria, providing training, and delivering ongoing support to help partners succeed. Automotive or finance exposure is helpful, but relationship skills matter most.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales, account management or relationship management.
• Exposure to the automotive industry, finance industry or a similar customer focused environment.
• The confidence to walk into a business, start conversations and build rapport.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to solving problems.
• A willingness to learn and develop your industry knowledge.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to help customers and business partners succeed.
• The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and introducers across Auckland.
• Visit introducers regularly and become a trusted point of contact for their business.
• Provide guidance and feedback on applications and supporting documentation.
• Help introducers understand lending criteria and how best to present applications.
• Deliver onboarding and ongoing training on systems, products and processes.
• Respond to enquiries and work collaboratively to resolve issues as they arise.
• Partner with internal teams to find practical solutions and deliver excellent service.
• Support customer visits, training sessions and relationship management activities alongside the Northern Regional Manager.
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities.
• Represent the business professionally and maintain a visible presence in the market
