Job summary

Bidfood Queenstown is seeking a motivated Dayshift Forklift Driver to support our warehouse operations. You will unload and re-stock deliveries using a forklift, stock and pick orders from the dry store, chillers, freezers and fresh produce, and assist with receiving and storage of inwards goods.

The roster runs Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun with a 5am start; 30–60 hours per week. The hourly rate ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 qualification or 3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to food safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles using a forklift
• Stock and re-stock the warehouse using a forklift
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Organize and store products in the warehouse following safety protocols
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and updates
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
