Job summary

Bidfood Queenstown is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dayshift Forklift Driver to support our warehouse operations in Otago, Queenstown. You will unload and restock deliveries with a forklift and pick wholesale orders from dry store, chillers, freezers and fresh produce.

The roster runs 5am starts with 30–60 hours per week, and the hourly rate ranges from NZD 28.00 to 32.00 depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 qualification OR 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load delivery vehicles using a forklift.
• Stock and restock the warehouse using a forklift.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Organise and store products following safety protocols.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via stock counts and updates.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Keep the warehouse clean and safe.
