Job summary

Bidfood Queenstown is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our evening shift pick and packer team. The work involves picking wholesale orders from the freezer, fresh produce, dry store or chillers. This is a permanent, full-time role with approx.

40 hours per week, guaranteed minimum 30 and maximum 60 hours. Evening shift starts at 3:30pm and ends around midnight. The hourly rate is between $28.00 and $30.00 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to and including 25kg) and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack food products according to order specifications.
• Ensure products are handled safely and stored correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Willingness to work evening shifts (3:30pm and finishes at approximately midnight).
• Days of work are: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
