Job summary

Tonkin + Taylor Ltd, New Zealand's leading engineering and environmental consultancy, seeks an experienced Data Platform & Analytics Engineer to develop and improve our Databricks Enterprise data platform within the Business Intelligence team.

You will build robust ELT pipelines, implement the Medallion Architecture, ensure data quality and collaborate with BI Developers, Data Analysts and Technology teams to scale analytics responsibly.

Qualifications

Extensive experience building data pipelines with dbt and Databricks.
A solid foundation in SQL, data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
Experience with cloud data services, Delta Lake and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable ELT pipelines in Databricks.
Design enterprise data models with Star schemas and conformed dimensions.
Collaborate with BI, data analytics and technology teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets.
