About The Role

We’re looking for a SQL-focused Database Developer who enjoys working on complex data problems and keeping critical systems running well.

Database Developer (SQL Server / T-SQL)

What you’ll be doing

• Owning and supporting SQL Server databases in production environments
• Designing and improving queries, stored procedures, functions, and data structures
• Tuning performance and resolving issues as they come up
• Supporting and enhancing backend data pipelines and integrations
• Working closely with engineers and data teams to keep systems running smoothly
• Contributing to code quality and ongoing improvements across the environment

What you’ll bring

• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL Server and T‑SQL
• Confidence writing and optimising complex queries
• Good understanding of data modelling and database design
• Experience working with ETL/ELT or backend data pipelines
• Background supporting production environments and solving performance issuesComfortable working with others and contributing to shared outcomes

Nice to have

• Python for scripting or data processing
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with data orchestration tools or scheduling frameworks
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD ways of working
