Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build and optimise enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines across the organisation. You will implement secure, scalable data services and automated processes using cloud technologies, DevOps, and DataOps practices.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions while upholding governance and privacy standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS/Engineering.
• Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong SQL and data modelling knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps or DataOps.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain Health NZ's modern data platforms and pipelines.
• Develop secure, scalable data integration services and automation.
• Apply DevOps/DataOps practices to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and Architects to deliver robust solutions.
• Ensure alignment with governance, security and privacy standards.
