Job summary

Wise Group in Hamilton is seeking a data-focused analyst to design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards. You will work across the Wise Group entities to turn data into actionable insights that drive meaningful improvements.

You will collaborate with internal teams, create scalable data solutions, and apply UX principles to user-friendly tools. This permanent role offers hybrid work, a generous leave policy, and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Proficient in Power Query, DAX and SQL.
• Experience with data modelling and databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, solution-focused mindset.

Wise Management Services provides infrastructure services to the Wise Group through people and culture, IT, finance, operations, payroll, property, design and development services. You will be part of our Information Services team, within Wise Management Services.

We’re looking for a data-driven problem solver to join our team. In this role you will be supporting entities across the Wise Group to improve how they work through smarter use of data.

You’ll contribute to both large and small projects by designing reports, creating insightful data visualisations, and helping shape systems using both off-the-shelf and in-house software.

This is a varied role where collaboration is key. You will work alongside internal teams and the Business Improvement team to deliver meaningful, people-focused solutions that reduce operational pain points and create real impact.

In this role, you will:

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at our beautiful head office in Hamilton East, with flexible working options available.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Hands-on experience designing reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Proficiency in Power Query, DAX and SQL
• Experience with data modelling and databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, solution-focused mindset

It’s a bonus if you have:

• An understanding of the New Zealand health sector, especially in the NGO or community space
• Experience presenting to stakeholders or facilitating workshops
• Proven ability to work independently with creativity and initiative
