Job summary

Downer is seeking a Cyclic Operator to support road patrols, maintenance and other operations to help deliver a high-quality roading network. You will identify and repair faults, assess risks and set up safe sites for the crew and public.

You will patrol designated roads, manage materials and work as part of a team. A Full NZ Driver's Licence is required; Class 2 is preferred but can be pursued. This role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work and is reliable, proactive and fit.

Qualifications

• Full New Zealand Drivers Licence required.
• Can-do attitude with a good work ethic.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Good initiative and be confident in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Willingness to perform on-call duties.
• Willingness to learn RAMM/AWM record-keeping.

Responsibilities

As a Cyclic Operator for one of the largest infrastructure businesses in New Zealand, you will be responsible for road patrols, maintenance activities and supporting other operations to help deliver a high-quality roading network. You will:

Along with a positive attitude and a commitment to safe workplace practices, we are looking for you to have:
