Job summary

DEFEND is seeking Cybersecurity Operations Analysts to protect customer digital environments. You will monitor threats, triage incidents, and provide actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, participate in on-call rotations, and maintain thorough documentation.

The role emphasizes threat analysis, prompt remediation, and clear customer reporting, with a focus on operational readiness and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security services by engaging, collaborating, and communicating with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor security events and alerts to identify potential threats.
• Perform security alert triage, investigation, and analysis to assess severity and impact.
• Escalate incidents as necessary and conduct threat scope analysis to determine exposure.
• Perform impact analysis, document findings, and correlate threat intelligence for actionable insights.
• Prepare, review, and summarise customer reports to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Respond to threats promptly, ensuring proper remediation processes are followed and recorded.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, ensuring rapid response and service delivery during critical incidents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all security monitoring and incident response activities.
