Job summary

ASB Bank in Blenheim is seeking a Customer Specialist to join our Advice Centre on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll welcome customers, help with everyday banking needs, and connect them with the right specialist when needed.

Located in Marlborough, this role offers a Monday–Friday roster and a supportive team focused on delivering excellent service and community impact. Banking experience is helpful but attitude and customer focus matter most.

• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, contact centres, administration or other customer-facing environments.
• Enjoy building relationships and helping people find solutions.
• Confident using technology and learning new systems.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering great customer experiences.
• Thrive in a team environment while taking ownership of their work.
• Banking experience is helpful, but attitude and customer focus matter most.

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the welcoming face of ASB for our customers, helping them with their everyday banking needs and delivering exceptional service at every interaction.

No two days are the same. You'll support customers with transactions, account enquiries, digital banking solutions and identifying opportunities to connect them with the right specialist when additional support is needed.

You'll work alongside a supportive team that's passionate about helping customers achieve their financial goals while making a meaningful difference in the Blenheim community.
