PGG Wrightson in Takaka is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative/Storeperson to join our Rural Supplies team. You will handle administration, order processing, stock replenishment, and work with sales staff to ensure timely, safe product delivery to customers.

Applicants should have strong communication skills, a local area knowledge, and a valid NZ driver’s licence. Forklift endorsements are preferred or can be trained.

Qualifications

• Proven computer and administration skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• NZ agricultural and horticultural knowledge preferred.
• Retail and/or sales experience advantageous.
• Good physical fitness for heavy lifting.
• Understanding of local area and customers.
• Full, current NZ driver’s licence essential.
• Forklift and DG endorsements required or trainable for the right candidate.

Responsabilités

• Handle day-to-day administration and processing of orders.
• Prepare and charge orders and manage stock replenishment.
• Coordinate with in-store CSR and sales teams for timely deliveries.
• Ensure products are delivered safely and accurately to customer properties.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to operational efficiency.

Customer Service Representative / Storeperson

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative/Storeperson to join our busy team in our Rural Supplies store in Takaka.

About the role:

This is a full time role as a Customer Service Representative(CSR)/Storeperson, you'll also be involved in the day-to-day administration and effective operation of orders which includes preparation and charging, stock replenishment, working closely with the in-store CSR's and sales teams, and ensuring product is delivered onto customers properties in a safe, efficient, accurate and timely manner.

You’ll be adaptable and have a keen interest and passion for the local agricultural and horticultural sectors. Your keen eye for detail and ability to relate well to both colleagues and clients will set you up for a long and successful career within our organisation.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven computer and administration skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• New Zealand agricultural and horticultural knowledge and experience is preferred
• Previous retail and/or sales experience is an advantage
• Good physical fitness as heavy lifting is required
• An understanding of the local area and customers
• A full, current and clean New Zealand driver’s licence is essential.
• Forklift & Dangerous goods endorsements are required but can be trained for the right candidate
