Job summary

PGG Wrightson in Whanganui is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative for Saturday mornings (9am-12pm). You will help customers, process sales, and support the store team while gaining exposure to retail and agricultural sectors.

The role offers training, a friendly local team, and opportunities for additional hours during busy periods. Prior experience in customer service or retail is helpful but not essential.

About the Role

As the face of our store, you'll play an important role in creating a positive customer experience and supporting our agricultural and horticultural customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers with product enquiries and recommendations
• Processing sales transactions and customer orders
• Responding to customer and supplier enquiries
• Providing administrative support to the Store Manager
• Receiving, unpacking, and merchandising stock

About You

You will ideally:

• Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Be reliable, positive, and eager to learn
• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and handling stock
• Have retail, sales, customer service, or agricultural experience (preferred but not essential)
