Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic all-rounder to join the Palmerston North team. You will handle front counter service and stores operations, becoming the face of TWL to customers while ensuring orders and stock are managed efficiently.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role includes data entry, invoicing, and supporting stocktakes. A forklift licence is a bonus; experience in automotive parts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or heavy transport parts (preferred).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Great communication and a team player mindset; forklift license is a bonus.
• Physically fit and able to roll up sleeves to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers in person, by phone, and online
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving goods, data entry into inventory system, and stock control
• Maintaining tidy, well-presented product displays
• Processing sales and preparing required documentation and invoicing
• Supporting stocktakes and cyclic counts
• Ensuring excellent customer service and safe work practices
