Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a front-line team member to deliver warm, engaging customer service and maintain clean, attractive displays. You will greet customers, stock shelves, and ensure accurate signage while upholding Health & Safety standards.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to stand for long periods, with potential for growth and internal promotion. English fluency is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for delivering engaging customer service.
• Retail experience is an asset; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and pride in delivering quality results and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended standing, heavy lifting, and work in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
• Package, stock, and rotate merchandise on display counters and shelves, ensuring high-quality presentation and accurate signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and support fellow Team Members as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.
