Job summary

Farmlands Cromwell is seeking a Storeperson to support deliveries, loading/unloading, and serving customers on the shop floor. This 40-hour-per-week role focuses on stock health, day-to-day workload, and coordination with freight companies to keep goods moving smoothly.

We're looking for someone who is physically fit, with forklift experience, a current licence, and solid computer and multitasking skills. The role offers growth within a supportive team and a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in storeroom/retail or warehouse environments with high stock movement is preferred.
• Current full drivers licence and forklift (F) endorsement is required.
• Physically fit and able to lift 25kg repeatedly.
• Sound computer skills and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to customers and freight companies.
• Operate a POS system.
• Maintain and receipting of stock records and admin tasks.
• Restock and organise product in bulk store and stockroom.
• Liaise with internal and external freight companies for inwards/outwards goods.
• Act as gatekeeper for stock health across the branch.
• Keep storeroom and yard clean, organised and efficient.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations around forklifts and vehicles.
