Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora’s Wairau Hospital HDU invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy unit in Blenheim. The role is permanent, with 1.8 FTE and rotating shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights in a 8- or 12-hour pattern.

You will bring at least two years of post- registration critical care experience, NZ Registered Nurse status with a current NZNC practising certificate, and a collaborative, quality-focused approach to patient care in a dynamic HDU environment.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Nurse with current NZNC practising certificate.
• At least two years of post-registration critical care experience.
• Able to work across 8- and 12-hour shifts in a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions requiring substantial scientific and professional knowledge.
• Care for HDU patients in a high-acuity setting.
• Collaborate with the HDU/AAU team to optimise patient outcomes.
