Air New Zealand seeks an experienced Senior Workforce Management Strategy and Optimisation Specialist to shape the future of our airline operations. You will lead cross-functional projects to optimise crew utilisation and resource planning.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, challenge conventional thinking, and implement innovative solutions while managing risk and delivering cost efficiencies. You’ll influence senior leaders and collaborate across teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in airline workforce management.
• Expertise in rostering, resource planning and training optimisation.
• Experience across Air or Ground resource groups.
• Strong analytical skills and data modelling.
• Strategic thinking with long-term and short-term impact.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and union agreements, plus optimisation tools.
• Ability to influence at senior levels and drive cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects to optimise crew utilisation and resource planning.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses for workforce initiatives and prepare business cases.
• Present detailed reports and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive change initiatives.
