Job summary

ANZCO Foods Limited in Blenheim is seeking a Butcher or Apprentice for our Local Butcher store. This full-time role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with rostered Saturday work and occasional overtime.

Duties include taking orders, preparing meat by cutting, boning, trimming and slicing, and packing to customer specifications. We welcome applicants with previous butchery experience, or those with the right attitude to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in butchery is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to manage a variable workload.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and prepare meat (cutting, boning, trimming, slicing) and pack to customer requirements.
• May perform wholesale/food service and retail tasks as needed.
• Work Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with rostered Saturday work; some overtime.
