Job summary

New Zealand Management Academies Ltd (NZMA) is seeking a proactive role focused on engaging prospective students and their whānau to promote NZMA’s programmes within the Primary Industries sector.

The successful candidate will build relationships with schools and community organisations, acting as the first point of contact and ambassador for NZMA, helping students move toward their goals with enthusiasm and care.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with prospective students, their whānau, and stakeholders.
  • Be the first point of contact for prospective students and respond to their needs to motivate them.
  • Advocate for NZMA's brand and programmes when connecting with schools, organisations and community groups.

Job Description

Each day is different in this role, with a wide range of people to meet, work with, and support. You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with prospective students, their whānau, and stakeholders. You will be the first person our future students interact with, and through connecting with them and responding to their needs, you will have an opportunity to motivate them to ‘learn to move ahead’ and take a step towards achieving their goals in the Primary Industries sector.

You will also be an advocate for our brand and our programmes as you connect with organisations, schools, and people in the community to promote our brand and share the amazing opportunities NZMA has to offer those looking to engage in education.

Qualifications
  • We are looking for an outgoing, people-oriented, empathetic person who believes in the positive impact education can have on the lives of students. Someone who is passionate about helping people ‘learn to move ahead’ through education. Being able to relate to and connect with our prospective students is key and experience in the Primary Industries sector is an advantage but not required.
  • If you have an interest in the needs of others, helping people see their true potential, exploring new challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment – this role could be for you!
  • Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
