Job summary

NZMA in Hawke's Bay is seeking a friendly Admissions/Community Liaison to engage with prospective students, their whānau, and local stakeholders. You will be the first point of contact, respond to needs, and motivate learners to move ahead with our Primary Industries programmes.

You will promote NZMA's brand across schools and community organisations, build positive relationships, and support students from enquiry to enrolment. Full training is provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, people-oriented and empathetic person who believes in the positive impact education can have on students' lives.
• Passionate about helping people move ahead through education; ability to relate to and connect with prospective students is an advantage.
• Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with prospective students, their whānau, and stakeholders.
• Be the first point of contact for future students and respond to their needs to motivate them to enroll.
• Promote NZMA's brands and programmes to organisations, schools, and community groups.

Each day is different in thisrole,with a wide range ofpeople to meet, work with, and support.You willhave the opportunity to build positive relationships with prospective students, theirwhānau, andstakeholders.You will be the first person our future studentsinteract with,andthrough connecting withthemand responding to their needs, you will have an opportunity to motivatethemto ‘learn to move ahead’and takea step towards achieving their goals in thePrimary Industries sector.

You will also be an advocate for our brand and our programmes as you connect with organisations,schools,and people in the community to promote our brand and share the amazing opportunitiesNZMAhas to offer those looking to engage in education.

Qualifications

• We are looking foran outgoing, people-oriented, empathetic personwho believes in thepositiveimpact education can have on the lives ofstudents.Someone who is passionate about helping people ‘learn to move ahead’ through education. Being able torelate to and connect with our prospective studentsiskey andexperiencein thePrimary Industries sector is an advantage but notrequired.
